..know those times when you feel the earth move? When titanic shifts are rumbling under your feet, you can’t see their effect yet, but you KNOW that when they break ground it’ll be momentous?! Last week was one of those big ole techtonic* shake-ups for me.

The dovetailing synchronicity of surprising events is speeding up which is always a precursor to an evolutionary earthquake.
The last time this happened I was on sabbatical; so terrified and full of blazing rage I poured my heart onto a canvas to avoid being consumed

Here again it is time to be renewed.. and I sense it not just in myself this time, but in many of us in this bandwidth. This is the time to be creative. Though powerful events are emblazoned on our memories, we often forget to mark them. This painting was a milestone, a way for me to track my progress.
When you are going through momentous changes, utterly joyful celebrations, heart-wrenching grief or excitement you can barely contain: mark it creatively>> make music, poetry, throw paint at a canvas, write, sing, build: whatever your heart guides you to, even if you think you don’t do it well!! In fact, particularly. Then it is authentic & ALIVE, and you get to see where you really were, and share it with those who need to hear it, see it, taste it :: to have their hearts pound in recognition.
With the injection of powerful EMOTION we infuse our creations with life and somehow give other beings hope, inspiration & drive. This is the true nature of the creative/creator force within you.
*yes my dear grammar stalker, I KNOW it’s tectonic, but since this shift is happening in the digital realm I’ll risk the neoligism .. so plz don’t bother posting me about this, it’s daft :-P

You’ve made a sterling point. Marking the transitions creatively should be an obligation for constructive living. Casting my mind back to times I DID, I realise how important it was in turning change into growth. Thanks for pointing out that connection.
