I had left a trail of chaos and scrambled code in my wake as I tried on template after template this week, peeling my way through all the lovely widget-ready ones from the Wordpress theme treasure trove like a teenage girl in a changeroom with 43 new things to try on.. and you know that always ends in tears :’-(
I was sooooo frustrated that I was at the edge of the abyss, ready to ditch all my posts and kill my Wordpress database out of sheer anguish (I would have had to plead crime of passion) … but a last minute call from grace fluttered into my fevered brain - RAFIQ! Blog architect, maker of marketing manna and SEO superhero to the rescue >>
Within a few minutes my little blog was spared from the very clutches of death’s darkened hand. aaaah… Code clean & pretty and template stable, optimised & ready to be MAXIMIZED.
Thank goodness for amazing friends. Thank you Rafiq! [With that kind of speed, skill & excellent sense of humour combined with your dazzling mind you are destined to ROCK bru!!]

PS. I eventually realised that I needed to pay attention to the advice of the bloggers that know (mmm ..the blogged knows) that like clothes: go with the classic styles and then accessorise!! So on Dave’s recommendation I’ve finally chosen K2, whew.
