..this ad (genius of the local King James agency) is such a beautiful illustration of taking the long term view. Of course it’s an inclusion in the Endurance category. Well done Allan Gray.
Thank you loveliest Leoni for telling me about it [she is almost through the endurance of bringing a gorgeous little girl into the world & into our circle of friends. We have no doubt she'll grow up to be beautiful like her mama too ].

lol :) Excellent ad!
Poor kid! We should warn him: she IS going to break his heart and no, she will NOT marry him – she will marry a smooth talking hot shot in a cabriolet (AG investment banker?) that will eventually break her heart – our hero’s ROI will be memories and agony…
So, my advice as a short term investment hot shot: ditch that tutu and go for the hot mama!
Other than that: why did they set this in Latin-America? AG’s (home-)market is Southern Africa? The ad-agency is local.
No aspiring ballerina’s over here? Or just a hint that for long term investments one should rather go overseas?
Migs – how cool? this one HAD to be shared
JJJ – practicing to see how long you can endure being cynical? I was married to one, so tread carefully :-P
Says YOU! global citizen, you haven’t stayed wedded to your homeland! we love delving into other cultures for our pleasure and creative inspiration.
I am NOT as jaded as you Mr Hardcore .. I LOOOOVE this one (pink & fluffy girl peeks in for a moment) *grin
lovely little w.w.w.: loosen up, ok? You know me better than that…

That special breed of genius I hunt isn't defined by a Stanford-Binet number; rather by a visionary capacity, good taste in problems, the ability to forge unusual creative connections, the brave foolishness to fail gloriously and generosity of spirit to build something beyond personal gain.
