good post M.

in fact, i did my thesis on the link between role models and mentors, and successful entrepreneurs:

From richard branson to donald trump to bill gates - ALL of them has indicated huge influence from other individuals.

Those individuals being either a family figure or industry peer.

Fact is this: everyone needs a jedi master, whether a young/aspiring entrepreneur or being a seasoned professional.

The one thing that stood out was this though: meeting/identifying a mentor doesn't happen by chance. Everyone of those 'successful' entrepreneurs i studied, made a very much concerted effort in identifying an individual(s), whom they can tap into for what their specific needs are.

Beautiful initiative Max :)

@Darren: so right! you know that maxim: "when 1 teaches, 2 learn". It's never a one.way gig with seriously bright people; any opportunity to learn could offer THAT life.changing inflection point

Sounds super exciting, Max :) Look forward to reading the report-backs.

What you say is so true - no certainties anymore, so highly likely that both mentors and mentees will learn a ton in the process.
